The kick-off-season 2024 / 2025 event celebration.

Latin American Theater Experiment Associates, Inc. (Teatro LATEA)  is thrilled to welcome Ballet des Amériques as its first-ever resident dance Company.  LATEA Executive Director Miguel Trelles is very excited to have choreographer Carole Alexis join the LATEA team by regularly rehearsing with her dance company and presenting their arresting dance choreographies at the theater, located on the second floor of The Clemente Center @ 107 Suffolk Street.

On that evening Ballet des Ameriques will share a mesmerizing program from the eclectic repertoire of choreographer Carole Alexis and performed by highly accomplished dancers fiercely committed to Alexis vision. Ballet des Amériques / Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre invites the audience to feel  *"Like a troop of avatars allowing us inside the dance for a few moments". The repertoire for this kickoff evening is made of vital dances that are clever, profound, joyful, witty, and at times bitter, dances that lead us to reflect, that make us moan and laugh out loud because they are true.
